Supervisor Training
The most important person in fighting drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace is the supervisor. Thus, IDD has developed a training program that empowers the leadership of our clients win the battle against illegal drug and alcohol use.

This highly effective training program, which includes a 120 slide interactive PowerPoint presentation, is designed to enable the supervisor to understand how to recognize the physical and psychological warning signs of workplace substance abuse.


Course Objectives:
  • Introduction into the responsibilities of the supervisor regarding drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace.
  • Introduction into the types and classes of drugs (Legal and Illegal) screened and confirmed in a mandated DOT drug test.
  • Identification of the signs, symptoms and risks associated with drug and alcohol abusers.

Jerry Lepre Empowerment Solutions is a member of the IDD Training Network.

It contains key information regarding the social, financial, emotional and legal challenges caused by employees abusing drugs and using alcohol. The booklet also contains the definitions, signs, symptoms and risks associated with the most popular abused substances.

FEATURED SERVICES

 

Federal DOT mandates that only the following five drugs be tested for: amphetamines, cocaine, cannabinoids, opiates, and phencyclidine. Additional drugs beyond these five are considered non-DOT drug panels and must be tested separately. For clients that are not federally mandated they can choose what drugs they want for the testing panel and how many.
